Coming to New Zealand!

hastexo is offering Cloud Bootcamp for OpenStack™ in Wellington. Another fine example of the global OpenStack community at work.

If you're thinking we're about to cut down on our OpenStack related travel after returning from the Design Summit and Conference on the U.S. West Coast, think again. In June, I'm about to spend a week in New Zealand educating people about OpenStack in a brand new training class we call hastexo Cloud Bootcamp. We will present this class in collaboration with Catalyst IT, New Zealand's leading open source company. Catalyst House in Wellington will also be the training venue.

This is yet another wonderful example of what an active and vibrant community OpenStack is, and how closely this community collaborates. Here we have two companies from literally opposite ends of the globe uniting to educate folks about the world's top open source cloud stack.

This is a four-day class which will be a deep dive into OpenStack. Designed by our training guru (and author of the famed OpenStack Essex on Ubuntu Precise install guide) Martin Loschwitz and presented by yours truly, this class covers OpenStack front to back. The primary focus of this class will be OpenStack Essex, although we will, of course, also touch upon the new high-availability features coming in Folsom.

Registrations for this class are already open, and a Super Early Bird discount is available until May 4. We're expecting seats to go fairly quickly. So if you're in New Zealand or Australia, and you want to learn about OpenStack, grab your seat!
