OpenStack

This month my own schedule, and that of hastexo, is full of OpenStack. Here are the details.

On 22nd Feb, OpenStack India User Group along with GlobalLogic organised an OpenStack meetup in Delhi, NCR, India.

Der OpenStack-Community-Abend Anfang Januar in Köln war gut besucht - so gut, dass wir aus der Veranstaltung gern eine kleine Tradition machen möchten und die OpenStack-Community-Abende in wechselnden Städten fortsetzen. Im Februar ist Wien an der Reihe: Kurzentschlossene haben am nächsten Sonntag die Möglichkeit, sich ausführlich über die OpenStack-Cloud-Umgebung zu informieren.

München ist toll! So toll, dass wir unseren Kunden und denen, die es werden wollen, nicht länger den Genuss eines Trainings in der Stadt Heinrichs des Löwen vorenthalten wollen: hastexos Cloud BootCamp for OpenStack kommt in die bayerische Landeshauptstadt! Vom 02.-05. April 2013 erfahren die Kursteilnehmer in deutscher Sprache alles, was sie rund um das Thema OpenStack wissen müssen. 

On 15th Feb, OpenStack India user group organised a mini conference at Gnunify.in, Pune(India).  GNUnify was jointly organised by Symbiosis International University and Pune Linux Users Group. A mixed blend of people attended the event from students, researchers to people from the industry. The members of visiting NTT Data (Japan) OpenStack team were also present at the event. Atul Jha kicked off the event with a short introduction to OpenStack.

For the upcoming OpenStack Summit in Portland, Syed Armani and I have submitted a talk on OpenStack high availability. Here's how you can make sure it makes it into the program.

One of the things that I love best about my role in this company is the pleasure of interviewing some extremely bright and promising people. I have had that privilege several times over the past few months. As one result of that, this week everyone at hastexo is proud and happy to welcome Syed Armani among us.
