When EPAM Systems decided to enhance some of its top developers' knowledge on the Ceph distributed storage stack, the company selected hastexo’s first-rate on-site custom training offering for a 3-day workshop at EPAM’s offices in Minsk, Belarus.

In a highly interactive, hands-on course, EPAM’s developers examined the ins and outs of the RADOS object store, the Ceph distributed filesystem, and the radosgw REST API to RADOS. All attendees deployed their own test Ceph cluster, and also explored ways to interact with Ceph via the librados and Python APIs. At the conclusion of the course, all attendees had a good and clear understanding of the Ceph stack, and will continue to apply that knowledge in their day-to-day development work.
